As we head into October, I'm going to be pointing you to some of my favorite Halloween-themed storylines that I've done through the years.The first comes from my Eisner-nominated series, Phables, which spotlighted stories about everyday life in Philadelphia.
This was actually a truncated version of an older Greystone Inn storyline that I wrote when I discovered that there actually is a Transylvania University (it's in Kentucky), and they have a wonderfully creepy story about an enigmatic, brilliant botanist with strong ties to Philly. (And, did I mention the curse?)
While I have you Phabling, be sure to check out the one about Phoenixville, the home of the Colonial Theater -- made famous by the movie, "The Blob." And, of course, don't miss the story about Eastern State Penitentiary, one of America's Most Haunted Places.
