Chapter 17 | Page 3b: Hot Stuff

Today’s page takes us back to Ralph’s Diner, where Captain Heroic proves—once again—that nothing rattles him… not even a surprise soup bath.

Hailey is mortified, Captain Heroic is dripping, and somewhere across the diner, Yazmine Velour is livestreaming the whole thing as heart emojis rain from the internet. It’s a small moment, but one that says a lot about who Cap really is—and why people can’t help falling for him.

Transcript

After Dark

This week's commissioned MicroFic delivers exactly what you’d want from a pairing between Dynasty and Father Christmas.

  • Yes, he lives up to his name.

  • Yes, Dynasty knew exactly what she was doing.

  • No, the North Pole will never be the same.

I also posted the Goblin Girl MicroFic from the Monster Girl poll — and the response was so good, I might need to make these poll-powered MicroFics a recurring thing!

Rosario Dawson’s Comic

Rosario Dawson’s Comic[ContactMusic.Com] Sin City star Rosario Dawson is such a huge comic book fan, she decided to create a cartoon strip of her own. The star and family friend David Atchison crafted a story and a character based on Dawson’s personality, image, background and attitude. She explains, “I co-created it. It’s called the OCT – the Occult Crimes Taskforce and Sophia Ortiz, who looks like me in the comic book, she is a detective who polices magic crime in New York City. “It’s really fun. It’s very smart. We’re really shopping it around right now. “We’re going to Comic-Con (comic book convention) this weekend in San Diego – it’s a pretty big deal. It’s going to be awesome! “I geek out on some of the artists out there myself because I’ve been following comics for a long time. “It’s a totally different industry. In Hollywood they’ll kiss your butt a little, but they do not kiss any butt there, it’s awesome!”

Rosario… I’m at Booth 1330 and my lips are baby soft.
