Whew.
Guys…
GUYS!
It was a fantastic summer. I spent more time with my two sons that I ever have. We made road trips, we played in the park, we just hung out and enjoyed each other’s company.
But I’m paying for it like a fiend right now.
So here’s the September eComic. It’s pretty late, and I’m sorry for that. It’s going to have to be updated with a couple of comics and the color versions of the last two weeks of strips…
…BUT…
Because of my raging guilt, I made the bonus feature extra big, and I’m already going full-steam on the October comics.

This month’s comic is crammed with great stuff! First, we wrap up the storyline that revolved around Lightning Lady’s mother’s visit. From that, we spend a little time as Keagan and Elastic Man consider their budding… friendship? And from there, we careen headlong into a brand new adventure that will find Elastic Man (and some other Evil Inc favorites) in an intergalactic struggle of epic proportions!
And for the Bonus Feature — oh, man! This month’s storyline is a continuation of the arc that started in June. Lightning Lady can’t face her mother’s disapproval so she goes on the hunt for someone to pretend to be her boyfriend. But she finds someone on a hunt of his own, and he’s not pretending.
And for the Bonus Feature, we’ve got the entire two-month storyline that tells the real story behind the origin of the Memo. The Memo has always been one of my favorite characters — dating back as far as Greystone Inn when the character debuted as “the Narrator.” Well, the Narrator became the Memo. And, if you pay close attention to July’s comics, you’ll see that the idea of a sentient narration box is getting yet another twist.
