Phenomenal Lass is a superhero who has a lot of heart. She wants to help so bad that it hurts. But her presence outside the window of the Lethal Librarian's safehouse means that Cassie Cruz's secret plan actually worked!

Panel 1:
Lethal Librarian (on phone, alarmed):
"Phenomenal Lass is right outside my safehouse!"

Panel 2:
Cassie Cruz (hands on hips, annoyed):
"How is that MY fault?!"
Jeremy (kneeling beside her, looking concerned): (silent)

Panel 3:
Lethal Librarian (still on phone, adjusting glasses):
"Someone reported loud noises from an apartment… They claimed there were zombies transporting heavy weapons here!"

Panel 4:
Lethal Librarian (still on phone):
"Merciful Melville! Now there's an ambulance outside!"

Panel 5 (large panel):
Paramedic (gesturing to the gurney with a covered body):
"This man has had a massive coronary! WHAT HAPPENED?!”
Phenomenal Lass (in superhero outfit, shocked):
"We were just talking! I said I was tipped off about serious banging happening here ...And if he was hiding a stiff capable of delivering a big load, I need to check his unit!"

Panel 1:
Jeremy (pointing at Phenomenal Lass):
"That man died because of what you said!"
Phenomenal Lass (concerned):
"Gosh. He was sharing the apartment with his brother. I should go say something..."

Panel 2:
Phenomenal Lass (gently):
"I'll tell him I know how hard it is, and I'm here for him if it gets too big to handle alone."
Ambulance driver (firmly stopping her with a hand):
"Um… No.”

Panel3:
Phenomenal Lass (hands up):
"You're right. I'll just give him a long, tight hug and tell him to just... let it out!"

Panel 4:

Ambulance driver (on the radio to headquarters, resigned):
"We're gonna need another truck."

Panel 5:
Lethal Librarian (on phone, frustrated):
"I can’t move forward with my evil scheme because Phenomenal Lass is hunting zombies!"

Panel 6:
Cassie Cruz (on phone, surprised):
"Zom… WAIT. Where’s your safehouse?"
Librarian (shouting):
"Two-hundred block of South Juniper. Why?"

Panel 7:
Cassie Cruz (looking at Jeremy):
"Jeremy…"
Jeremy (smiling slightly):
"We found the mole."
