Today’s page takes us back to Ralph’s Diner, where Captain Heroic proves—once again—that nothing rattles him… not even a surprise soup bath.
Hailey is mortified, Captain Heroic is dripping, and somewhere across the diner, Yazmine Velour is livestreaming the whole thing as heart emojis rain from the internet. It’s a small moment, but one that says a lot about who Cap really is—and why people can’t help falling for him.

After Dark

This week's commissioned MicroFic delivers exactly what you’d want from a pairing between Dynasty and Father Christmas.
-
Yes, he lives up to his name.
-
Yes, Dynasty knew exactly what she was doing.
-
No, the North Pole will never be the same.
I also posted the Goblin Girl MicroFic from the Monster Girl poll — and the response was so good, I might need to make these poll-powered MicroFics a recurring thing!

Who’s Up and Who’s Thwarted

Terrible Trio: [WIKIPEDIA]
The Terrible Trio were originally three famous inventors in Gotham City, who sought new challenges by starting a criminal career. As a gimmick, they dressed up in business suits while wearing cartoon masks of animals. From then on, they were known as the Fox, the Shark and the Vulture. Tapping into their respective areas of expertise, they based their technology on their respective animal themes. The Trio were recurrent foes of Batman and Robin for years, but they have also battled G’nort, and, more recently, the new Doctor Mid-Nite.These three stooges of villainy — bored rich guys who got off on dressing up in masks and pulling criminal capers — have long had it coming. They’ve gone from Terrible Trio to Terrific Target.
The Shark got it first, with a hauntingly appropriate burial at sea in
Detective Comics #832, and the others are equally doomed.
Unless Batman screws everything up and saves their skins.
