Chapter 17 | Page 2b: The Ol’ Battle Ax

The #GuigarChristmasCountdown Rolls On

Every day until Christmas, I’m releasing a brand-new holiday single-panel gag — and this year’s batch has already included:

  • Overworked elves

  • Malfunctioning snowmen

  • Questionable reindeer behavior

  • And Santas who are absolutely phoning it in

Next week’s cartoons keep the absurdity rolling. If you’re counting down to Christmas with me… buckle up. We’re not even halfway to the weirdest ones. Catch them on BlueskyPatreon chat, or the Evil Inc Subreddit.

The Tick vs Season 1

The Tick vs Season 1

The first season of The Tick is going to be available on DVD a week from today.

Kind of.

The Tick vs Season 1 includes only 12 of the 13 episodes from the animated series’ first seaon. The series featured an impressive roster of voice actors, including Micky “The Monkeesâ€? Dolenz as Arthur. Roddy “Fright Night” McDowall guest stars as The Breadmaster. Also appearing is El Seed and Dinosaur Neil.

And Mindy Moleford. And therein lies the rub, according to rumor. “Moleford,” a parody of Cindy Crawford, appears in the missing episode, “The Tick vs. The Mole Men.” Rumor has it, Ms. Crawfor was not happy with the portrayal. Comics2Film insists that those rumors are false, however. The writer implies he knows the real reason, but refuses to divulge.

Feh.

Oh well…
