It turns out we weren’t duped after all! Late Monday night, Marvel and Sony made the official announcement: Spider-Man will appear in some of the Marvel Studios movies — and Marvel will be releasing a Spider-Man movie of its own!
I share the news with the boys and ask the Big Question: Can we possibly stand one more origin story? Their answer floored me.
Then we got philosophical. Alex asked: “Who’s better, Sherlock Holmes or Batman?” The inevitable donnybrook ensued.
