I’m running a Spice Rack Comics Showcase on Patreon — a creator-by-creator spotlight featuring samples from every artist in the collective.

So far, I’ve highlighted:
• The Cummoner — delightfully unhinged fantasy filth
• Pixie Trix — sexy mischief wrapped in razor-sharp humor

And we’re just getting started.

By the time the dust settles, I will have shared 87 pages of NSFW comics with Patreon backers — all pulled from the massive Spice Rack sampler PDF. It’s a fantastic way to discover new creators, expand your reading list, and support the indie adult-comics community.

If you’re a Patreon backer, keep an eye out — more artists are being featured every few days, and some of these comics absolutely go places.

(And if you’re not a backer yet… this is a pretty great month to give yourself a gift.)

Halloween comics — Vincent Price

All this week, I’m going to spotlight some standout Halloween comics from Evil Inc. And I can’t think of a better way to start off than with Evil Inc’s Director of the Mystics and Occult Department, Dr. Vincent Leonard. Dr. Leonard is a pretty open homage to the great Vincent Price (Vincent Leonard Price), who was famous for several great horror movie turns (like The Fly and all of those wonderful Roger Corman flicks) — and, of course, for providing the epic rap at the end of Michael Jackson’s Thriller. From his Personnel File: Dr. Vincent Leonard is the director of the Mystics & Occult Department, reporting directly to Dr. Whoosh. He is working on magically changing his last name, but he knows that this, like all magic, comes with a Price.

First appearance

2007-10-08-mystics-and-the-occult-dept Here’s the first storyline that Dr. Leonard appeared in

Messiah Complex

20130826 Dr. Leonard also played a key role in the Messiah Complex storyline — in which, the Memo believes that it is the Second Coming. That storyline starts here.

Ruby of Ragnoor

2012-01-17-ruby-of-ragnoor-five Dr. Leonard was also pivotal in the Ruby of Ragnoor saga… That storyline started way back here. Comics-adAll week I will be highlighting a Halloween comic storyline from years past. I’ll also take just a moment to tell you about my special Halloween comic that collects the best Halloween-themed stories from 13 — thirteen — years of my comics. You’ll get spooky specials for Greystone Inn, Evil Inc and Phables — 80 pages of chuckles and chills! And all for only $1.99 at DriveThruComics. Patreon_textbugOR… you could support my ongoing work in comics through Patreon. It doesn’t take a huge commitment. You can become a Patreon supporter for as little as $1 a month. But if you sign up to back me at the five dollar level, you’ll get this Halloween comic — and every past and upcoming Evil Inc monthly eComic — for FREE.
