Chapter 17 | Page 2b: The Ol’ Battle Ax

The #GuigarChristmasCountdown Rolls On

Every day until Christmas, I’m releasing a brand-new holiday single-panel gag — and this year’s batch has already included:

  • Overworked elves

  • Malfunctioning snowmen

  • Questionable reindeer behavior

  • And Santas who are absolutely phoning it in

Next week’s cartoons keep the absurdity rolling. If you’re counting down to Christmas with me… buckle up. We’re not even halfway to the weirdest ones. Catch them on BlueskyPatreon chat, or the Evil Inc Subreddit.

Patreon: More Arch Bros!

As I announced earlier, I’ve started posting exclusive content to my Patreon page. This has included pages from my sketchbook, some single-panel cartoons, and prototype strips of an Evil Inc spin-off that I’m calling Arch Bros. Arch Bros takes the concept of Oscar and Oliver — two brothers… one a superhero and the other a supervillain — and puts them into a “civilian” family. It’s really turning out nicely. For the time being, only my Patreon backers can see the Arch Bros strips — as well as the other bonus content I’m creating — for as little as $1 a month. If you think you might be interested, here’s one of the Arch Bros strips you missed — and one of the single-panel cartoons. Click on the images to see the whole thing. ArchBros_3calvin_urologistAs I wrote when I posted that second one, I’ve got this weird feeling that I’m subconsciously stealing it from somewhere, but I can’t find it anywhere. And I couldn’t get it out of my head until I drew it. So at the risk of unconscious plagiarism… I’m sharing it with you today.
