Chapter 17 | Page 2b: The Ol’ Battle Ax

The #GuigarChristmasCountdown Rolls On

Every day until Christmas, I’m releasing a brand-new holiday single-panel gag — and this year’s batch has already included:

  • Overworked elves

  • Malfunctioning snowmen

  • Questionable reindeer behavior

  • And Santas who are absolutely phoning it in

Next week’s cartoons keep the absurdity rolling. If you’re counting down to Christmas with me… buckle up. We’re not even halfway to the weirdest ones. Catch them on BlueskyPatreon chat, or the Evil Inc Subreddit.

Ricardo Montalban dead at 88

Sad news for the super-villain community: Ricardo Montalban, known for playing Star Trek’s Khan, has died at the age of 88.

[E! Online]: Ricardo Montalban, who presided over TV’s Fantasy Island as the all-knowing, vaguely mysterious Mr. Roarke, and menaced Captain Kirk in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan as the film’s chest-baring villain, died today. He was 88.

Montalban’s death was announced by a city council member from Los Angeles, the city the Mexican-born actor had worked in, and starred in, for more than 65 years.

Montalban won one Emmy, for the 1978 miniseries, How the West Was Won, and was presented with the Screen Actors Guild’s Lifetime Achievement Award in 1994.
