The New York Times is reporting that Heath Ledger has been found dead in Mary Kate Olsen’s Manhattan apartment.
Police are saying it’s an apparent suicide.
UPDATE: Both the AP and New York Times are backing off earlier claims, including the suicide angle and the Mary Kate Olsen connection.
Pills were found near the body. No confirmation on who owned the apartment.
Ledger had finished filming the sequel to Batman Begins in which he played the Joker.
