Who’s Up and Who’s Thwarted

MODOK: In Ms Marvel #15, MODOK steps to the forefront to battle the shapely Ms. Marvel. His weapon of choice? Wonder Man… the guy she just woke up next to a few pages ago. Extra points for style.

This arc is planned as a three-parter, which will take us up to Super-Villain Team-Up; MODOK’s 11 #1, scheduled for a July 18 release.

[MARVEL] While the heroes are away fighting World War Hulk, the villains can play…M.O.D.O.K., sick of being hunted and hounded by A.I.M., gathers together an eclectic team of Marvel’s Most Wanted to pull off one last, big score. But news travels fast along the grapevine of villainy — and pretty soon every bad guy in the Marvel Universe is gunning for the M.O.D.O.K.’s unspeakably powerful prize. Executing their heist may be the easy part, because getting away with their loot alive is going to be the real challenge for M.O.D.O.K.’s 11!

So, it’s MODOK as Frank Sinatra/George Clooney in an Ocean’s Eleven send-up? I can’t think of better casting!

I’d compliment him more, but I don’t want to give him a big head.
