This month’s storyline is a continuation of the arc that started in June. Lightning Lady can’t face her mother’s disapproval so she goes on the hunt for someone to pretend to be her boyfriend. But she finds someone on a hunt of his own, and he’s not pretending.
And for the Bonus Feature, we’ve got the entire two-month storyline that tells the real story behind the origin of the Memo. The Memo has always been one of my favorite characters — dating back as far as Greystone Inn when the character debuted as “the Narrator.” Well, the Narrator became the Memo. And, if you pay close attention to July’s comics, you’ll see that the idea of a sentient narration box is getting yet another twist.
