Because of the massively successful Kickstarter campaign for the upcoming Webcomics Handbook, (not to mention a downright harrowing Web host / Content Management System switch last month) I fell way behind my production schedule for the July comics. That left Ed Ryzowski, the skillful colorist of Evil Inc, little (or no) time to work his tremendous craft. So the last two weeks of the July pre-release are in black-and-white. For now. As soon as the colored versions are ready, I’ll release an update for you to download and replace the early edition you bought.
The July Evil Inc comic is 39 pages, and it concludes a time-travel adventure with Oscar and Oliver. Also, it’s the return of the Real Housewives of Transylvania for a special two-week storyline.
Then, in Tale from the Evil Inc Archive, re-live the entire Ruby of Ragnoor storyline. Lightning Lady and the newly-villainized Elastic man team up to steal the Ruby of Ragnoor — a jewel with rumored mystic properties. But what happens when it falls into the hands of Miss Match, who uses it to try to simplify her hero/villain secret marriage with Captain Heroic? Simple.
