Chapter 17, Page 20a: Conflicting emotions

Doctor Muskiday thought he had built in the perfect failsafe. He made himself immune to the micronanos.

Unfortunately, the micronanos have gotten a little… ambitious.

Now they’re macronanos — and they’ve learned how to use emotions as both a power source and an attack vector. Pride, fear, unrequited love, oddly rigid opinions about iced coffee… nothing is off-limits.

Poor Muskiday. You can outrun a lot of things in Fairmount City. But apparently, you can’t outrun your own conflicting emotions.

Coming soon on Evil Inc After Dark

In Evil Inc After Dark, young Hailey is still reeling after losing the one thing every aspiring internet celebrity treasures most:

Her social-media status.

Luckily, public-relations guru Yazmine is there to console her.

And because this is Yazmine, “console” does not mean tea, tissues*, and some encouraging words about “building your brand authentically.”

It means helping Hailey process her feelings in a way only a content creator could truly appreciate.

*OK... it might require some tissues...

Look for the Silver Lining

I just caught a hilarious movie on iFilm.com! It’s called Tim Warner: A Life In The Clouds. Its a comedy about a bad cartoonist who does a lame daily comic strip. (think Ziggy, Garfield, etc…). When his comic is taken out of the paper and replaced by a more “edgier” political strip (think Mallard Fillmore, Boondocks, etc) the two cartoonist must battle it out!

It’s a little long at 36 minutes, but it’s well worth the time. If you’ve ever winced at hokey comics like Marmaduke and Ziggy, you’re going to love this. It was clearly made by people who love comic strips. These guys nailed it. I’m telling you, I laughed out loud.

And they even got Berke Breathed to do a cameo.

The movie itself has a Web site, that’s worth checking out as well.

[Edit: The movie has some profanity. Also, I’m told that FilmThreat gave it a bad review. Boo on you, FilmThreat, I say boo on you!]
